Omar paying tribute to Florence Chaudet , who was FAAPI (Federación Argentina de Asociaciones de Profesores de Inglés) President for almost two decades and died in 1998. This was during the Northwest Congress in Tucumán in 1999. Florence was a well-loved friend of Omar´s.
Omar at the Facultad de Humanidades de la Universidad Nacional de Catamarca during a break of a Professional Development Course he was teaching there. Among the happy faces, two dear friends: Nora Luque, a doyen of Language Labs in our country and ESP specialist Norma Diaz
Omar visits a stand run by a group of girls at a Social Sciences Fair in a Catholic School in San Salvador de Jujuy. Omar devoted a large part of his career to teaching adolescents. His first teaching assignment in a Secondary school was in Escuela de Educación Técnica Nro 1, an evening school for working teenagers.
