Dear SHARERS,
We remind our dear SHARERS that we
NEVER send attachments with the instruction to open them. Everything we want
you to read is in the main body of the message, so please do not open any
attachment.
A fake version of SHARE has been going
around with the subject line:
RE: SHARE 167. This is clearly
somebody who wants to appear resending the original SHARE 167 that was
published on May 26th 2006. Apparently this message contains
three images which cannot be seen and an instruction to open an attachment to
be found with the message. DONīT DO THIS! WE NEVER SEND ATTACHMENTS TO BE OPEN.
An attachment is a traditional feature
of each issue of SHARE as it contains information about fonts and colours but
it is not meant to be open. SO DO NOT OPEN ANY ATTACHMENT you receive from us.
As a "further explanation",
let us reproduce the following message that Marina Berrueta
from
Hi Omar,
I'm writing to tell you that someone
is sending e-mails with the subject line "Re: Share - Issue 167"
(similar to the way it appears when you
send it) plus an attachment, which I didn't open because I know you don't send
that type of file.
Perhaps you should warn readers of
this, as some virus may enter their computer.
It called my attention that this
happened specifically with issue 167 where you warned us all against quack
"brain consultants".
I suspect someone needs some 'brainy'
advice on how to answer to criticism in a professional way...
A big hug,
Dear SHARERS, sorry for all the
inconvenience.
Love
Omar and Marina
