WITH A SONG IN YOUR HEART

In this lighthearted session we will reminisce a number of hits from the 70's, 80's and 90's
while tangentially aiming to rediscover their possible use in the EFL classroom. The audience
will be invited to take part in the simple activity of naming the song on the basis of the lyrics
or short fragments of the music. Participants will have a chance to find out how many of the
songs to be presented are also used by the colleagues attending the session.

To a very large extent, this session is meant to play music fundamentally for enjoyment and
because of the nature of the songs to be presented it  will aim at reminding the audience of
the benefits of chanting, i.e. singing together as a way of creating those bonds that bind us,
or even dancing to bring this inevitable surge of energy that revitalizes us and helps us on
                                 our journey.
