Every time I open my Facebook page, I cannot help feeling but assaulted by the question: “What´s on your mind, Omar?”, although I know there´s nothing in the least personal about it (it happens to millions of other people every millisecond), I find the question upsetting. Why? Because I have so many things in my mind all the time that I do no dream of finding just one truthful answer (I do not think Facebook would care if they found out my answer is an utter lie). But, these last few days, I can risk there has been a prevalent feeling on my mind and I´m happy to say this has been: pride. But pride, not in the sense of arrogance or conceit, but in the sense of satisfaction and fulfillment. We are frantically working towards our First Convention of Heads of English and the response from our colleagues could not have been better. In a little less than a month we have surpassed our most wild expectations about enrolment and the support from the biggest names in the industry has been extremely positive. Pearson and Macmillan have become our Platinum sponsors and we are giving our finishing touches to an interdisciplinary team of government officials, lawyers, administrators, financial counsellors, organizational psychologists, former heads of schools and ELS´s (English language schools)and coaches. A dream team!

Two weeks ago Martin Villarreal started his Facebook group, Directores y Coordinadores de Inglés de Argentina, and in such a short period of time it has grown to slightly more than 800 heads and, most importantly, it has amassed a number of first-quality contributions specifically related to the field of educational management. How could I not be proud? And last, but not least, in two weeks we will have another session of our SHARE Community Talks and will be able to collect donatives for those in need. I´m proud, very proud and , although, it might seem a cliché, you are, to a great extent, responsible for this feeling, and so to you goes my gratitude.
